Mermaid/trumpet wedding gowns!

I bought the ballgown first, then lost a lot of weight and decided I was hiding behind the ruffles of it. I love the mermaid style, and I would encourage you to at least try some on if you have hesitations. Better than lingering over dress anxiety!

Mermaids are lovely but the downside is you have to get alterations because you need to buy the biggest size that will fit your hips and alter the top but that is for my body type which is curvy. If you want one then see if you get can exchange.

I had the same gown as Kathryn!! It was so beautiful.

Don't mind my face, I was so disappointed when I picked it up in the size they ordered. Love the mermaid, but it needs so many alterations. My quote was 400, just to hem, take in, and add straps. Another 100 for bustles if I choose to get them. Sometimes I wonder if I should of kept my other dress. Fit like a glove, didn't need any alterations.

Mine is more of a fit and flare than a mermaid, but its mermaid ish. I second guess myself because I wanted to hide under an a-line dress but fell in love with this one. I just keep reminding myself why I love it!

I went in looking for an A line with spaghetti straps. After trying them on, I decided an A line was not for me and loved this instead

None of these is my dress, but I knew I wanted a mermaid/trumpet/fit&flare for my wedding, so I tried on a bunch and these were my favorite. I honestly wish I could wear all of these lol.
