How are you including your pets in your wedding? Are you creating signature drinks named after them? Having your dog or cat be a ring bearer/flower girl? Giving out favors (dog treats, cat toys, etc) for guests to take home to their own fur babies? Adding them in your wedding photos? Share your ideas and inspiration photos in this thread!

We used our dog for our Save the Dates. She was also listed on the program as “honorary flower dog.” We toyed with having a stuffed boxer or cutout picture or something to go down the aisle, but we never found something we loved that worked. We didn’t want her there physically because it would’ve stressed her out too much.

Oh, and I tossed this picture of her up at the reception, mixed in with a collection of pictures of us. 😆

Oh, my second pic didn’t attach. This was the one at the reception. Her bandana says “I do too.”

These photos are so cute!! I totally understand why you didn't want her there on the wedding day, that probably would have been a bit too overwhelming for her. But having the photo of her with the bandana and tiara at your reception was a good way to include her!!

Including pets in a wedding can create some of the most memorable moments of the day. If you're planning to have your dog participate as a ring bearer, flower pup, or simply be part of the photos, it's worth thinking about logistics ahead of time.

One thing many couples overlook is making sure the ceremony and reception areas stay clean and comfortable for guests. If your dog will be spending time outdoors before the event, scheduling a Dog Poop Pick Up Service or Dog Poop Cleaning Service beforehand can help keep the venue grounds looking their best. A professional Dog Poop Service or Dog Poop Clean Up can be especially helpful if you're hosting the wedding at a private residence.

For pet-friendly celebrations, having a designated handler for your dog is also a great idea. That person can manage walks, water breaks, and cleanup needs throughout the day. Some couples even use a Pooper Scooper Service or Pet Waste Removal provider before major outdoor events to reduce stress during setup.

If you're planning a wedding in Minnesota, services such as Minneapolis Dog Waste Removal and Minneapolis Dog Waste Removal Service can help homeowners prepare their yards for guests and pets alike. Many pet owners also search for Dog Poop Pick Up Near Me when getting ready for outdoor gatherings and special occasions.

With a little planning, your furry family member can be part of your big day while helping ensure the venue remains clean, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone attending.
