Menu for casual park wedding

Mrs.Mayes, on June 30, 2014 at 10:32 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

This is the 3rd time we've changed our menu. FHs family was asking what we were having and offered to cook all the food as long as we buy all the ingredients. Our pavilion in the park has a kitchen so we don't have to worry about keeping the food the right temperatures. FHs family thinks we should add a few more things but I'm not sure.

Chicken

Hamburgers

Ham Biscuits

Mashed potato bar

Macaroni and cheese

Baked beans

Green beans

Rolls

Meatballs

Deviled egg

Baked ziti

Salad

That almost seems like too much food, so I think you have plenty.

That's more than enough, I assure you! You don't want to get too much and have a bunch of leftover food.

The menu sounds absolutely delicious BTW. Smiley smile

It sounds yummy, and a bit too much for me.

Sounds fine to me! Plenty of options. A lot of work, but kudos to your family for taking charge of it! That is very thoughtful!!

Agreed, that's a ton of food! I would even suggest scaling down the portions a little. Everything looks yummy and I would want to try everything! Maybe chicken nuggets/chicken tenders/kabobs instead of a whole piece of chicken, hamburger sliders instead of full size hamburger and mini ham biscuits. Everything else can be portioned out however they want it. I'm a "try a little of everything" kind of girl.

Already planned on chicken tenders and sliders. The ham biscuits probably won't be that big, it just depends on how small we can find them.
