Mentor Couple

A mentor couple is one who is willing to share their experiences as a married couple and provide advice to the newer married couple to help them strengthen their marriage.

Do you have a mentor couple? Do you think mentor couples are necessary? Why or why not?

I didn't even know mentor couples were a thing until my friend who got married two weekends ago mentioned how they had a mentor couple. We don't have one, but I can see the benefit of having one. I don't believe it is a necessity, there are plenty of successful couples who did not have a mentor couple.

I suppose our mentor couple would have to be an older couple from our church. They host us for lunch each Sunday and we've learned so much about a healthy marriage from them!
