Men's Wedding Site? This is too funny!

Just came across this; http://www.theplunge.com/gettingmarried with FH. It's a wedding planning site from the Groom's perspective. Haven't really looked through it. I think he is gonna sign up. We are cracking up from the first part of the home page next to the pic of the Groom running away! Then under checklists it shows a picture of a ticking time bomb and says 'The Final Countdown' and we both just start singing that song "This is the final countdown!" and start laughing even more. Can't wait to skim through this and see the 'guy's point of view" LOL! I LOVE IT!

I saw that site ages ago and my FH thought if it was a joke it was hilarious. It if was serious he was ashamed to be apart of the male sex. lol.

VegasBride, it's not a joke site. They even have a forum for guys to go talk about wedding stuff. It's more of a satire to be the polar opposite of the knot. I think the articles are great because they do put out usful information (some of them) but in a way that guys will actually read and pay attention because of the jokes. I enjoy seeing the (sterotypical) male perspective.

I just looked at the site. Too funny! Like Amanda I like seeing the typical male perspective so that I don't get angry when my fiancee says "You can do whatever." It does give good insight to some topics.

This is wonderful, thanks Amanda! I sent it to my FH and his best man. It's got some serious info in it but in a guy-friendly way! I was glad to see that the things they say the guy really needs to pay attention to are the things I've asked my FH to help with while I focus on the other things. And the reception checklist is just what we needed! I've been trying to prep my FH for the reception, he doesn't really like crowds so will have to work at playing host. Seeing "Talk to every single guest . . . every single one" on the checklist may help!
