Mens Wedding Party Attire

Does anyone know about pocket squares? Im going to have the guys wear light gray suits and a teal tie. The Groom with a gray vest and the groomsman with a teal vest. But im not sure what colors to do for pocket squares. I want the groom, BM, and rest of the groomsman to be different colors. i was thinking white, pink (thats my accent color and color of the boutineers) but not sure what else. I really like this one that has 4 shades of colors that are close to teal but idk if that would look good. Just curious!

All of our guys wore medium gray tuxes and matching vests. My husband wore an ivory tie, and the groomsmen wore pink ties to match the bridesmaids dresses. The pocket squares matched the ties, so my husband's pocket square was ivory and the grooms men's pocket squares were the same light pink as the ties and bridesmaids dresses. I would probably do the rest of the groomsmen in the real color, and have their groom in the white and the best man in pink like you suggested.

Wish I could help you or even have some input. My fiancé still hasn’t decided on best man or groomsmen much less color of suits. I do know he’s decided on a suit vs a tux but that’s about it.

Pocket squares normally match the vest and tie. However, for the best man in our wedding we had him wear a different color pocket square to stand out from the other groomsmen. My husband also wore a completely different color vest, tie and pocket square than the groomsmen and best man. So it ended up being my husband with a black tux, silver vest, tie and pocket square. The best man with a black tux, red vest and tie, and silver pocket square. The groomsmen and bride's man with black tuxes, red vests, ties, and pocket squares. Do you want each groomsman to have a different pocket square?

My husband and his groomsmen wore blush pocket squares from The Black Tux for our wedding!

Contrary to belief, pocket squares should NOT match the tie. It should complement it. So if the groomsmen are wearing a teal tie and vest, you could get a printed pocket square that has teal in it and ties the look together.

Our groomsmen wore black suits with black tone-on-tone animal print ties and a black/teal/green animal print pocket square. Teal was one of our colors and we got married at a Safari Park so it made sense.Mens Wedding Party Attire 2

Yeah, I originally thought they were supposed to match and was going to do burgundy ties with burgundy pocket squares. Then when we tried it out, it kinda looked boring. Also I didn’t really know what the rules on pocket squares are so I had to google it. Haha

I’ll be honest, the guys accessories was one of the hardest part of wedding planning for me. I almost gave up and was planning on just getting plain white pocket squares.
I found ours at Paul Smith (online) and the ties are John Varvatos (Bloomingdales). So I would definitely check there! Smiley smile
