Hey. My wedding is 5/29 and I'm a little worried but I still feel like it's too soon to cancel or postpone. I cant handle wedding stress for much longer so I'm really hoping to proceed with our wedding as planned.

May 2 here, I’m definitely worried but hopeful. A lot can change, for the good or bad, so we are taking it day by day. We have our venue walk through next week. Currently staying the course and not planning on cancelling unless something drastic happens. Just read all of your contracts and get in contact with your vendors - all of ours say we’d get our money back or allowed to reschedule if, for some reason, we are forced to cancel.

Wedding date twin! We are a little nervous but feel like it's too far out to make any big changes. I think we will see how things are looking April 1st and decide Smiley smile

Yes mine is May 1st and I’m worried we are going to have to postpone. I’m holding off for now because we’ve waited 13 long years to be married and I don’t want to wait anymore! But if fh family can’t fly out and my MOH either... idk. I’m going to start emailing my vendors on Monday and see if they will work with me if we need to postpone. I better not loose any money either. Stay safe everyone and good luck! Hope none of us have to postpone!

Our wedding is May 16th, and I wasn't worried at all until today when I found out that all the local schools were closing until at least April, and the cruiseline we booked for our honeymoon announced a 30 day suspenion. But, after my bridesmaids talked me down a little, I emailed my venue, DJ and Photographer for their input and I'm feeling a little better about the whole thing.. I'm still a little worried my wedding could be canceled all together, but I'm not worried about not marrying my best friend, because no matter what, THAT is still happening. The party portion can be rescheduled. My biggest concern at this point is losing out on some money since my FH and I are paying for the whole thing ourselves and many vendors don't offer a complete, 100 percent refund... as well as the money lost by guests who have already booked flights or hotel rooms or our wedding party who has put so much money in already. BUT, hopefully, it will all work out and everything will end up as it's suppose to. Trying my best to stay positive since we don't know for sure either way what will happen!

Wedding twin!! We have been together 11 years and this virus is not making me cancel my wedding lol. The only people who are not local are my grandparents who would be flying from Oregon to Southern California, and they would understand if we decided to continue without them. Everyone else is local so I’m trying to not stress about it. Continue with your plans I’m sure things will die down by then xoxox

We are getting married the same date! And feel EXACTLY the same. I’m curious what you’re thinking now that the CDC put this new suggestion to cancel events over 50 the next 8 weeks, and that’s like right up until our wedding date.

I'm just now hearing about this! Honestly not sure what to think. I'm trying to stay calm, but the more this whole thing seems to be closing in on our date, the more I'm trying to come to the realization that our wedding may not be a thing right now... and it makes me kind of sad. It's been 2 years in the making, so.. yeah, I don't know what to think..

Ours is May 9th and while the wedding is in state for us and our very close family - a lot of others would have to travel and we were planning on staying in Memphis (out of state). I'm leaving everything alone for now and just going to see how it plays out when we get closer to time! If we have to reschedule that's what we will do, but hoping it doesn't come to that. We are having a very small wedding so hopefully we can at least do that and maybe just not stay out of town for the weekend like we'd originally planned.
