I was married on May 21st of last year...Which was supposedly going to be the end of the world/Judgement Day Smiley smile

It was all over...on buses, billboards, everywhere!

It was so funny because DH started telling people our marriage was the end of the world (totally in jest, of course LOL)

@good luck bear....I am going to suggest to FH that we have to dance like chickens all day on the 14th. At the airport, at the hotel, everything! We are going to Vegas so once we are there... no one will even notice.

My BFF got married on 'Talk like a pirate day.' We had a fun picture of us taken with hats, eye patches, and swords actually!

WOW- September 2 is National Beheading Day!

It is also VJ Day-- which I just learned was the official end of WWII.

Yahoo also claims it to be-

    Bowling Shirt Day

    Old Timers Day

    Pierce Your Ears Day

    Spaulding Baseball Day

    HAPPY BASTILLE DAY!!!

    Date: 14 July

Bastille Day, the French national holiday, commemorates the storming of the Bastille, which took place on 14 July 1789 and marked the beginning of the French Revolution. The Bastille was a prison and a symbol of the absolute and arbitrary power of Louis the 16th's Ancient Regime. By capturing this symbol, the people signaled that the king's power was no longer absolute: power should be based on the Nation and be limited by a separation of powers.
