Mass July Wedding

Amanda, on May 18, 2020 at 2:33 PM Posted in Massachusetts Planning 0 2
Our wedding is scheduled for July 10th. After hearing Bakers plan, I contacted my venue and they are saying most likely our wedding would fall into phase 3 due to the size. Our date falls a week after phase three would be implemented. I’m torn since she thinks we should continue with proceeding as planned. I’m nervous the phases will get pushed back if we end up waiting it out.

Anyone else in this boat?!?!

    Hi Amanda,

This is definitely a crazy stressful and uncertain time for everyone! It seems like a lot of July brides are waiting a few more weeks before making postponement decisions, but everyone's situation is different and it never hurts to be proactive about plan b!

Here's a discussion specifically about July 2020 Weddings!

First things first, I recommend that you call or email your venue and see how they're handling July events. Things are changing daily, so keeping the lines of communication open is important. That way, you can make decisions in a timely fashion.

    Good luck!akxoU0fWxdmfE9sHUjjkYB-ICl1lHJDh_sCPQOky

    Hi Amanda,

I'm August in MA. I think you should definitely plan for a plan B. Would you want to hold off and wait for things to get better? Have a small wedding of 50 people? I think you need to have a open conversation that your worried about phase 3 will be pushed back. Hopefully things will be better by July. I think you need to decide soon. Best of luck to you!
