Danielle's post got me thinking about the flip side of men wearing/not wearing their rings... I was with DH 4 years before we were engaged, and I never got used to wearing the ring every day.
I work from home a lot, so many days I wake up and just don't put it on. It's a family piece, not something he bought, but I don't think that's why - I think honestly, in my heart before I had a ring, I felt married so now I don't feel like adding a ring changes the way I feel. Or, maybe it really is just that the rings aren't what I'd have chosen for myself, though I do like them. Not sure. Either way, I often forget to put them on when I'm running errands or other stuff, though I always wear them if I'm going to the office, or we're going on a date.
With SO much emphasis/advertising/hype about rings, I wonder: am I the only one like this?
