Hi ladies!
We are married, and I want to give a shout-out to budget conscious brides! Including the rings and honeymoon, we did it all for just over 10k, and it was WONDERFUL! Tons of flowers (silk), a friend did the food ($400), vista print invites and programs, church choir sang at the ceremony ($300), my sister officiated (free real-life pastor), DJ for $500 (she rocked), 2 dresses for $400 total, Bevmo wine and champagne on the 5 cent sale, doves from a friend ($20), hair and makeup for $150 - including trial, photographer for $650 (these are not her photos), AMAZING cake for $525, all of our own decorations that we made or bought on craigslist or ebay, rings -- including ering -- from the Zales outlet on Black Friday ($1200), and 7 day cruise to Cabo and Puerta Vallarta for $1400. The venue was also only $1200 for 7 hours and included the deck, dance hall, kitchen, and ladies' dressing room. Wonderful day!
