Mariachi for the Ceremony

I think that would be such a cute idea. I wanted to have one at my reception but I will have to see if I can add it at the end if I have any money left over.

Yes, my fiance really wanted one but we already have a band. It was a nice surprise from a very generous family member But we are not sure what to have them play for us during that time.

Hmmm...I've only ever seen mariachi during the dinner, but I might like it better in the ceremony. I've never been a huge fan of mariachi players blowing trumpets in my ear while I'm trying to eat. Good luck!

This song from A Walk in the Clouds is one of my favorites and would work for walking down the aisle. I think technically it is norteno, but it could probably be re-arranged for mariachi.

Love it! We are hoping to do this too if we have it in the budget. Can't give you specific song advice though, sorry we are having them play all the pre-ceremony music while guests are sitting and arriving, then at cocktail hour only, so we don't have criteria for certain songs.

I guess if you give them enough time, they could learn some traditional wedding music, right?

I've seen Mariachi bands used for the brides entrance (mostly in Mexico) but also for cocktail/dinner time as well.

My aunt is also gifting us the Mariachi for that day so I plan on having one for both Mass and reception. 85% of our family is HIspanic so they love the idea.
