I'll be napping after I return home from my bachlorette party. Maybe working on painting some DIY decor.

Hey WeddingWire community! I'm Lauren, and I'll be your guide for National Wedding Planning Day on Sunday! I got engaged in May 2019--check out a photo from our engagement below--and will be hosting my own wedding in September 2020, so in addition to be an expert in the industry, here to help all of you out with wedding planning, I'm also in the midst of my own wedding planning journey!

It sounds like many of you already have a lot of exciting things planned: dress shopping, DIY projects, and more! On my to-do list--besides being online to chat with all of you--my fiancé and I will be at my FMIL's sorting some decor we're bringing with us to our venue, working on our invitations, our wedding website, and figuring out what our first dance plans look like. We are both in desperate need of dance lessons, I'll tell you that much! Smiley xd

Glad to meet you all and I'm excited to chat more!

I loved wedding dress shopping! I ended up buying something completely different than what I had in mind and I absolutely love it! Looking forward to hearing about what you end up buying -- good luck!

My fiance is headed to Chicago. But due to wanting a larger party/new moms/pregnant bridesmaids, we're doing something local. Idk what. It's a surprise and the only thing I dont have to stress about for the wedding! So I'm excited!

It's both our days off from work so we rather just stay home and maybe do a movie marathon. Make some popcorn and then maybe play a few video games together.

Sometimes the best way to spend "wedding planning" time is just doing some R&R with your S.O.! That sounds like an ideal Sunday Smiley smile Enjoy!

I’m with you! Although this week I’ll be packing for a business trip. Hoping we can slip in a little snuggle on the sofa time.
Bright side, next week we’ll be together visiting our wedding venue in person for the first time.

That's exciting! FH was showing me how to play call of duty and I had the worst anxiety LOL. It was so much fun though. Moments like that is what matters most and it's a beautiful thing.
