Yup! My FH will be in a 3 piece blue suit while the GM will be in a gray suit.

My FH really wants to wear navy and my bridesmaids are in navy, so we're doing the groomsmen in grey so it isn't too much of one color. Then all the guys will be wearing the same tie to unify the look

Ooh where did you create this? Looks like maybe Sim's just wondering if there's an interactive web tool somewhere I'm not taking advantage of...

Go to menswarehouse.com and create a group and then put your bridal party in and assign looks and the pictures will pull up after you pick stuff out.

Following this... want to get more ideas... to use to drop "subtle hints" to FH... I am not sure what he's gonna come up with but seems determined to "do it himself" AND surprise me... which I am not sure I am prepared for!!!

I am still trying to figure this one out as well. I can’t decide if I was FH to wear a different color tux or just have all the guys wearing the same color tux while FH wears a bow tie and the GMs wear regular ties...

or maybe they all can wear bow ties. But FH will have on a different color tie??

All suits are dark navy. My F will have a white vest with a tie printed tie and my groomsmen will have a yellow vest w yellow tie. Thought about bow ties to differentiate but the guys weren’t having it lol.

Yep! I convinced my FH to get a tux made that has an ivory jacket with black lapel and accents (ivory to match my dress... basically white though). I would like the groomsmen in all black similar to this picture, but I am cool with them having a white shirt too. Our colors are black and white with accents of gold and red. So I think this would work nicely.

Thanks! I'm super hype about the vision in my head. I just hope it all works out. My bridesmaids will be in all black too, so I can imagine how the photos will look with them standing on either side. It should make us stand out even more. *crosses fingers*

I think that will look fantastic! FH and I were at a wedding where the groomsmen wore grey and they did not stand out at all because most of the guests had grey suits on, we decided no grey suits. But this....your wedding party will def stand out esp. you & your groom. Can't wait for the BAM.

I think FH might wear a different colored tie. They are wearing light gray suits and the bridesmaids are in navy. The tux shop has dark gray and navy ties so he will probably wear one and the guys will wear the other.

My FH, his GM, and our dads are all wearing navy suits. In order to differentiate them, my FH is going to wear a blush-colored bowtie (he likes bowties) and a larger boutonniere; the GM are going to wear blush-colored regular ties and small boutonnieres; and our dads are going to wear a regular tie that matches our moms' dresses (plum for my mom; royal blue for his mom) and a small boutonniere. I really wanted my FH to wear a gold bowtie (our colors are gold, blush, green, and white), but he didn't like it.

We had them all match. I initially wanted him to stand out, but I loved the bow tie and pocket square we found so much that I didn't want him to have LESS attention drawn to him than the others. In the end, I figured if a guest doesn't know which man is the groom, they probably don't belong at the wedding. But we've been dating for a few years, so we've had the chance to introduce each other to everyone.

Sometimes the groom wears a different colored tux, lighter or darker.
