Are any of you guys planning to have your groom in different attire or doing something different for him to distinguish him from all of his groomsmen? Looking for ideas on how to help him stand out a little bit!

The guys will all be wearing gray suits, ivory shirts, and mint green ties. FH is going to wear a vest with his suit but the groomsmen won’t. It’s subtle, but I think it actually makes him look quite a bit fancier (and we also saved some money on the groomsmen’s suits, which FH decided to buy for his guys even though I told him he didn’t need to, lol). He will also have a different boutineer, his will be white and the groomsmen will have peach ones.

Yep! Groomsmen will be in slightly dark grey suits, and FH will be in a lighter grey. Inspired by the look below:

My groom is swapping the vest and tie color....I can't remember who is in which set of colors but it's either a gold vest and red tie or vice versa.

My FW and groomsmen will be dressed the same other than a. FW doesn’t want to wear a vest while the groomsmen will and b. She will wear an ivory bow tie while the groomsmen wear normal ties in the color sage

All of the guys will be wearing black tuxedos. The groom's overall look is black and white, and the groomsmen will be in black and raspberry to match the girls in the wedding party.

My FH is wearing light gray with a gray tie and all of our groomsmen/bridesmen are wearing navy suits with wine ties (BMs are in wine dresses). He said that if I could wear something completely different, then he could Smiley laugh

My FH is going to have a different boutonnière then the groomsmen. The groomsmen will have sunflowers and he will have a yellow rose.

I'm following for ideas. We're doing a beach wedding and I like the idea of the groomsmen wearing vests and him wearing the linen white shirt, but he wants them all wear the linen shirts. Ugh.

FH will most likely be wearing his dress uniform wihile the groomsmen will be wearing blue tuxes. A special, more full boutonniere can also make him stand out if you don't want to do different colored suits/ties!

I love the groom standing out from the groomsmen. You don't see bridesmaids wearing the same wedding dress as the brides lol

My husband wore the same suit as the groomsmen but a different shirt. They were all white but his had a very light design on it. It was just noticeable enough to make him stand out while still looking similar.

Mom and I went suit shopping yesterday, and we already had an idea that FH would have a full suit with a bowtie, while groomsmen would have a vest and pants, and a tie. Same suits, same color.

We decided to support the local businesses, and take advantage of their BOGO Free sale they have.
