Makeup trial thoughts?

Your eyes look great! Honestly, I'd go with a little more color on your lips and cheeks so they will show up in the photos.

Maybe a plum or a wine color. Not necessarily darker, maybe brighter. Just my two cents

Just a notch or two up from your normal everyday look to add a little glam to go along with the fun of the day

Thank you. Normal, everyday for me is literally nothing as I’m an athlete so anything I put on would be sweat off in minutes, lol! If I’m dressing up, I do mascara and chapstick🤣. I actually thought this lip color was very bold when I first saw it! When I looked at myself in my car mirror I literally thought it was clownish, haha. Looking back on it and how my FH reacted, I am realizing it isn’t nearly that extreme! But this is exactly why I’m reaching out for other’s opinions.

I have to agree with the PP. Your eyes will look great, especially with the lashes, but your cheeks and lips need a little something.

Your skin is incredible! I like the look, but a bold lip would look great on you!

And You are very pretty and I think some bronzer just needs to bring out your beautiful face structure and a mauvey/ plum color like everyone said but I also found a Smokey eye and a natural look with a sort of plum color lipstick if you wanted to see it, my thoughts but you don’t have to listen! I just love makeup lol

I think that fits you if you do not wear make up— just a few suggestions to make it pop. Line your upper and lower lash with a black eye liner. Also use some bronzer and you will be the beautiful bride that you are!!.. I wish you much luck!

Have to echo other posters that even if you normally don't wear a lot of makeup, in pictures (esp. with a white dress) you will look more washed out than you do in real life, so adding some color (I'd recommend some bronzer/contouring and a deeper blush color + some highlight) will really help combat that in the pictures!!

You look great! It looks really natural, and if you aren't the type to wear makeup often it is very fitting. It's a good look. I can see the value of what the other posters are saying and going for more on the cheeks and a bolder lip, but still this a good look in itself.

As someone who also hates bold or dark makeup, I agree you need a brighter lip. The color is too close to your skin tone, it’s washing out in just selfie pics, it’ll wash out completely in professional photos. I like the color you chose, it’s similar to what I’m going for. I would go a couple shades darker but keep that same color family.
Sorry you had to deal with jerkface stylists, people like that shouldn’t work with customers if they’re going to be nasty from being offered business.
