Make up for a winter wedding

I need some help deciding on appropriate make up for my winter wedding. I live in CA so there’s no worry about it raining for the most part, but I’m struggling with a color palette for my wedding day make up. I always wear red lipstick like pin up style it I wasn’t sure if that’s something I should wear for my wedding. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Recommendations on lipstick colors or brands? Eye shadow colors? Help!

I got married in December in Sonoma and wore a deep red lipstick to match my deep red nails and flowers. I had a professional HMUA so I don't know what brands she used but the lipstick was great and lasted all day and didn't rub off on my husband.

I wore red lipstick on our wedding day. I wore Mary Jo by Kylie Jenner and I loved the lipkit. It stayed on SO well for 10+ hours and didn't smear on my husband or my teeth. I tried Fenti Lipstain but wasn't a fan. I also tried some normal lipsticks but didn't like how they bled. I found it super helpful to moisturize my lips (drinking a ton of water & using an exfoliant or mask) the two weeks prior to the wedding too.
