For our wedding the three most important things were great food, open bar and fun music. Everything else was not as important to us. We wanted our guests to have an amazing time and I think we did that. Prioritize what you and your FH think are important and go back to that from time to time when planning. It really helped us focus at times. Good luck.

For us we felt the venue really set the stage for our wedding style, so a great venue was a must. We toured a huge variety of venues including a beachfront highrise, aquarium, victorian house, 1920s bank, industrial market venue, riverfront house, and HUGE resort and our final choice was a historic waterfront building that was converted into a hotel. Each of the venues lent themselves to different colors, styles, decor, and even timeline so we wanted to start there.

I would say the overall vibe, you want everyone to have a fun/ relaxed time. So I think the music, the venue, and the drinks to make everyone relax lol.

The only things that are must haves are a partner, an officiant, a marriage license, and witnesses. And even some of those can be skipped, depending on your state. Everything else is optional.

For me my must haves is the ceremony with our immediate family and closest friends present. A reception afterwards that is not over the top, but a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.

    Patience. Lol 😂

Nah, in all seriousness. The important thing to remember is that the day is about your union. At the end of the day as long as you are with your love, that’s all that matters. 😊 everything else makes it beautiful but it really doesn’t even matter.
