Do you guys think it is too much to have a bride team of 6 and 2 of them be the maid of honor and 1 is the Matron of honor ??

I think if half of your bridal party is a maid or matron of honor, it kind of takes away from the honor.

I think it's too much, yes. The "bottom 3" may feel some type of way about that.

At one point of time I was going to have 4 bridesmaids, a maid of honor and a matron of honor. I have two older cousin I wanted to be there and I wanted them to have those spot, the one that was married was doing be the matron of honor and the single one was going to be the maid of honor. Both of them are special to me which is why I wanted them to have honor, I also know what they are capable so one would be more in charge of the bridal party while the other one did the duties.

If you want to have a team of 6 go ahead girl. I have seen bridal parties of 10 women. HOWEVER I would not ask anyone till the 6 month mark.

I think one maid and one matron at most. If you have too many, the "non-honored" ones may feel left out.

I have a bridal party of 5 total. Two matrons of honor (my sister and my best friend since we were 12) and then the three bridesmaids are my sisters-in-law. They seem to be fine with it since obviously the two "of honors" are people that I've known for far longer than I've known my in-laws. I think it really just depends on your relationships with the people in your party

I have 2 matrons of honor and 2 bridesmaids! I don't see an issue with it. The matrons of honor are my 2 sisters.
