Magnets in wedding invites??

We are gearing up to send out our wedding invites. We had a digital custom wedding map made, and we want to include a copy in our invites. We originally were going to order 4x6 postcards, but magnets are on sale and I can get 4x6 magnets printed for just a few dollars more than the postcards. Would magnets just seem unnecessary? Or cute? I’m torn between postcards and magnets

I've heard magnets get stuck together in the mail and can cause mailing problems, and they are more expensive to send postage wise. I'd go with postcards!

I have magnets for my STDs
I don't find them much heavier postage wise. They do tend to stick together so I might only mail a few at a time

I agree with this. There have been a few people on here who said their guests never got their magnet STDs because of them sticking together or even sticking to the inside of the mailbox. I would not risk sending magnets with the invitations since these are much more important than STDs.

I used this Etsy shop! we were mostly using ours to give guests a visual list of nearby sites to see since we’re getting married in Yosemite. If you like simple/watercolor this seller was amazing! And affordable. You can find more detailed maps on Etsy too if that’s what you’re looking for
