I can explain more how to take your measurements, but then for each dress, we'd want to look at where your measurements fall on the size chart (typically people fall into two or three different sizes) and depending on the dress, where there's some wiggle room (for a ballgown or aline, hip measurement doesn't matter as much; for mermaid it matters a lot, open back can mean the bust measurement can go a size smaller, etc), and figure out your size from there.

View Quoted Comment That's actually really convenient if you're shopping pre-owned, you won't need to worry about length! Wedding gowns are typically scaled for someone who's 5'10". I am actually 5'10, with a long waist and torso, and all the gowns I've worn (for work not for weddings lol) have hit the right spot on my waist. Do you have an idea of what style you're looking for? Have you seen any dresses on here or pinterest that you liked?

I would buy that one in a second except it's on dress afford and their review are mixed up n iffy n some say customer service refunds and returns are impossible so. Kinda worried.

Adding a belt or flower is easy, you could do it in any color. I can personally vouch for the quality of Sophia tolli as a brand

That being said, a lace fit and flare with a corset back shouldn't be too difficult to find, there are lots of pretty options! Maggie Sottero and Sophia Tolli are my go-to brands for corset backs
