Looking for a venue

What’s your budget and what are you hoping will be included in that budget? Any particular theme or vibe? All inclusive or BYO? Indoor or outdoor? Are you planning on having the ceremony and reception at the same location?


Since your guest list is pretty small, I’d look into restaurants under “private dining”. That’ll give you the best bang for your buck. Places like Five Crowns in Corona Del Mar and Salt Creek Grille in Dana Point have experience with holding weddings. The Tea House on Los Rios in San Juan Capistrano is a super charming venue in a historic area close to the mission and has held weddings. If you’re looking for a Spanish vibe that’s not as far south, the Green Parrot Villa in Santa Ana has a gorgeous outdoor area with the option of an indoor banquet room.

If you are looking for something historic, the French Estate in Orange is very affordable since they charge based on your guest count, and offer lots of flexibility and special deals through their favorite vendors. Another intimate venue that’s not super well known is the Pelican Courtyard. It’s very affordable and flexible on vendors.https://www.thefrenchestate.com/weddings/

There are also some woman’s clubs and community centers that have nice areas for cheap. The Arts Garden at the Brea Community Center is relatively new and is very pretty. I’ve also adding links to a couple of Woman’s Clubs with nice outdoor areas.
