Long!!! Well at least I'm in favor of longer receptions. Your wedding day is the one day it's all about you and everyone is there to celebrate your marriage. It's so exciting and having a longer reception gives you more time to spend with your loved ones and celebrate. Ours was about 5 hours long.

I think ours will be on the shorter side. ceremony at 3:30, cocktail from 4-5 and reception from 5-8.

Long!! Our families are party people so we know our reception will extend into the wee hours of the morning.

Average. We'll be having 2 receptions. One in Mexico and the other at home.

We have our DJ booked for 5 hours. If we have a little extra money and decide we want to go longer we'll add an hour.
