Long Island Venues

Gloria, on January 28, 2017 at 11:12 PM Posted in Planning 0 17

Looking for advice on wedding venues on Long Island. We're aiming for Nassau and western Suffolk. We are going to have about 120 guests. I have contacted a few venues but a handful of them require a 175 guest minimum!

Check the WW Vendor Tab. Good Luck!

Check out fox hollow. I loved it when I saw it. I picked a venue in Brooklyn instead just because 95% of my family lives in Brooklyn. But otherwise I would have picked fox hollow

I'm getting married in Nassau but I believe my venue has a 150 minimum! The vendor tab on here helped me do a lot of research! As I guest I've been to so many other LI venues, but I can't speak to how much their minimums are

I have checked the vendor tabs on WW but I find that a lot of them have incorrect guest minimum information. For example Fox Hollow shows 75 guest min on WW. but when I contacted them I was told 175 was the min requirement.

I know the Allegria Hotel in Long Beach hosts 100 people or less. It's pretty pricey though.

Maybe check out Jericho Terrace, Chateau Briand, Bridgeview Yacht Club, Crest Hollow and the Swan Club

I do not recommend swan club. Their garden is beautiful and a great place to take pictures. But I did not like their halls at all. Think about it, if you're gonna end up spending most of your time indoors then I don't recommend swan club

I'm in CT but my office has servers and IP addresses in Nassau County, so I keep seeing ads for wedding venues there! Jericho Terrace looks beautiful.

Oheka Castle, Old Westbury Gardens, Falaise (Guggenheim Estate), Bourne Mansion, Carlyle on the Green, Gurney's Montauk Resort just to name a few. It really depends on your budget though.

I love the Swan club and the Westbury Manor. But I'm a Jersey girl at heart.

Depending on your budget. The Cresent Beach Club is beautiful! But a little more expensive. i loved Crest hollow and Fox Hollow. Chateau Le Mar in Lindenhurst is nice too. GOOD LUCK

We ended up picking el caribe. When we signed the contract they let us have 130 people for a Sunday. In the end we ended up with 180 guests. But the service was spectacular. I had my ceremony outside. The food was unbelievably great. The venue is on the pricer side but the service and care from the staff was so heart warming. They truly want you to have a memorable wedding.
