Local Facebook Wedding Groups

Tiered guest lists are a popular idea in the WI groups.

Cash bars and $400 photographers seem to be the trend in NC. I also belong to a wedding resale group and the popular opinion is "I bought these tablecloths for $20 a piece and they were used once so I'm selling for $19 each. I also made 9 centerpieces from the dollar tree and am selling them for $200."

What mn fb group do you belong to? I just belong to the for sale one.

I joined one and self catering was a hot topic today, and I don't mean in the "please don't get your guests sick" way - in the "dang you're so smart and budget friendly" way lol

The group I'm in doesn't even talk really. I haven't seen a post there since last month!

Also in MN, but do not belong to any FB groups other than WW Bride-to-Bride (resale group).

My local Facebook group is where taste and etiquette go to die. I learned so much about how low people will go to avoid paying for things.

Ok so it seems like they are all the same then lol. It just seems like night and day compared to WW.

@Randee - there is one called Minnesota Brides. It's a closed group and someone already in it has to add you. I finally left it today because it was not at all helpful being in it. They rip apart brides who properly host guests and they all rave about tiered guest lists (and it is also very popular to invite guests to JUST the dancing and drinking at their cash bar after everyone else has eaten dinner to save money on feeding them).
