Definitely modern. We dated almost 3 years before getting engaged, and will have been living together for over a year by the time we get married this summer (moved in together about a month after getting engaged). Already have 4 cats (3 adopted together).

This is the only part where we're being traditional. It's not because we want to, but because we have to. He can't get a visa until we marry, as we're adamant on marrying in the US.
