What type of band are you looking for? small rock band with contemporary music? maybe a small acoustic band with a singer and horn player? frank sinatra 50-60s style music? should it be a local group to save expenses?

Check some music gig websites. I think some sites allow you to make a bid or offer of a certain amount and then see if anyone wants to discuss the gig with you.

One thing I had not noticed before was that the Vendors tab on Wedding Wire has a link for bands at the bottom. Sorry no one else has been able to recommend anything. There is a band that does Frank Sinatra and a related group (both from the same website) that does WWII songs.
