Needing some advice. We've pretty much decided that our hearts are set on a beach wedding. Not near the beach, on the beach.
We want the ceremony to remain somewhat small, as we have to pay $100 per 10 chairs, on top of the cost already at about 2k-3k just to have this ceremony. So here is my thought: We have a private stream to the reception venue and host the cocktail hour first prior to/during the ceremony. Venue is about 10 minutes from the beach, so having people get there, get seated, get a drink, and then watch the live feed from their tables and we'll come right there after seemed like a great idea! Especially considering we'd like to do a "first look" and get as many photos as we can earlier so we can go straight there. Thoughts? Is that tacky? I mean, I'm still paying for the party, it's just a matter of how many people we can have on the beach, in this zoned off little area that we'll have available to us. I mean little, like 25 feet by 25 feet.
Note: This is not a public feed, not a live facebook post, not streaming to anyone that wasn't invited, but only to those at the venue already, and a few family members and friends that cannot travel the distance.
