Let me see what you've made!

I feel like I need to get a start on DIY projects but it feels like Pinterest is getting overwhelming. I want to see what you've actually made for your wedding. Let's see your centerpieces, backdrops, signs, bouquets, boutonnieres, EVERYTHING!

Thank you! I used Rust-Oleum, and, fair warning, the paint definitely chips. I probably could ha w avoided that by using a primer or a sealer, but after washing and peeling labels off 80 bottles, I was done!

Just a tip if you decide to go this route, put a couple bottles in the oven (look up a tutorial to be sure of the temps, I wanna say we did 450*) for 5-10 minutes. Most of the labels will come off pretty cleanly if you take them off (we used tongs and a razorblade). Some glue will be left, so just scrape with a razor blade, or let some goo gone sit on them for a bit.

It was definetly a lot of work, but I really like how they turned out.

Here are some of my DYI. I still need to spray paint the tree branch. I can’t exactly finish the food table decorations until the day of my wedding since I’m using real flowers.

Please don’t mind the mess - everything is in the wedding room & I'm in the midst of packing everything in boxes with instructions. There’s more lol but it’s boxed up.

This is my centerpieces all I need to do is add more flowers to the top of the hoop and then I’m adding fairy lights to the base of it. And here are the signs my ring bearers will be carrying down the isle. And I added some nice envelope liners to my invitations.

I love your centerpieces! Where did you get the hoop and how did you put it together? I would love to see the finished product if you still have more to add.

Thank you! I won’t be making them again until it gets a few months out to my wedding. This was just a trial run for them. And I got all of my materials from Joann’s( flowers, hoop, and foam block) and some from Home Depot( tile for the base) and amazon ( glass terrarium) And Walmart ( the fairy lights) Because I got a peice of tile to put underneath a foam block and then cut the hoop so it can sit on top of the block and then added the flowers into the foam block.

I tried to DIY as much as I could. In some cases it was to save $ but others it was because I couldn't find anything I liked .

    In order of the pictures:
    1. Seat yourself sign. Hand painted.

    2. Partition. Made of burlap, lace and chiffon. I have 25' conpleted with another 15' to go. We're getting married outside and I really didn't want FH to see me until I was walking down the aisle, so, that was the need for the partition.

    3. Guest book. Really a wooden board everyone will sign and we will hang in our home. Hand painted.

    4. Mr. & Mrs. Lace burlap jars for sweetheart table

    5. Toasting glasses and cake serving set

    6. Candy bar sign and set up

    7. Giant flowers for arch. This is still in progress and I am working on it this evening.

    8. My headpiece

    9. Sola wood bouquets (There are actually 5)

    10. FH boutonniere to match my bouquet

    11. Mismatched centerpieces for guest tables

I also made our aisle runner. I finished it yesterday but forgot to take a picture. Its about 50'long with a curve at the end I will start walking down.

I have made almost all of my wedding decorations and signage. I used various internet searches, pinterest, etsy, etc for inspiration. We are having a concert themed wedding with teal, orange, and black as our colors. Our table numbers are concerts we have been too. Our guest book is vinyl records with pictures from our engagement session in the middle. Our centerpieces are various candles sitting on vinyl records. My future father-in-law is making custom yard games for us as well. Here are a few of the things I have made.
