Let me see what you've made!

I feel like I need to get a start on DIY projects but it feels like Pinterest is getting overwhelming. I want to see what you've actually made for your wedding. Let's see your centerpieces, backdrops, signs, bouquets, boutonnieres, EVERYTHING!

I plan to do this sign too for the bar and I love the chalkboard so I may lean that way. Did you write the words or was that the stickers you got?

I know we’ve done more diy, but I don’t have pics of them. I got a plain wood plaque, painted it, added some flowers and fh used the cricket for the welcome. Fh also used the cricket to design invitations.

I couldn’t find the exact ones, but these are similar! I got them at Target, so maybe you can find them at your local store?

I made the dack drop it was a nightmare but so worth it when we finally got it to stand up, printed with just paper on the matches for the sparklers, but honestly I was wasted a lot of money on diy project hating them and ending up paying for what I originally wanted. So Just be careful with diy projects I wasted $600 of fake flowers hated them and then had to pay $1,500 on flowers and I could have just spent $2,000 on a real florist and get a lot more.

Lol, I’m getting married in May 2020, but haven’t actually gotten any DIY done yet...well kinda. I have all of the parts for my centerpieces, but haven’t put them together at all to see how they will look. It also doesn’t help, I live in an apartment and don’t have a ton of space to spread stuff out.

I don’t have a Cricut, but family friends have offered to help out and do stuff for me on theirs. I’m thinking of using it for some lettering and possibly invitations.

I love your invitations!! I’ve been thinking about having something similar for mine! If you don’t mind, did you save a bunch of money by making your own?

Thank you! I have to give all the credit to my fh. With already having a cricket, it definitely saved us personally a lot of money . I think each individual invitation was about 2.50/3.00. We are having a small 38 guest wedding, so for a total of 18 invitations was about $45.

Here's some of the things I've made. Centerpieces are all painted or glittered wine bottles, thrifted odds and ends, silver platters, and frames for old photos of FH and I as kids

I just finished writing all the names on the seating chart, finished the welcome sign, the best day sign, and painted the card box. one of my aunt's helped out with the hoop wreaths, the "L" will be replaced with a wood cutout of our last name

I was thinking about something like the painted bottles in the centerpiece. What kind of paint did you use? I love the color, especially the rose gold!
