Leftovers are first-come, first-served. As long as everyone received something the first round, it's fine if not everyone gets leftovers. It's a universal truth that leftovers are limited!

YES! We had takeout boxes for our guests and they totally took home much of the dessert bar items. We had cake, tarts, fruit, cookies, eclairs etc.

The last thing I wanted was to take home a TON of desserts. We still had a lot to take home but that's because we ordered way too much haha.

I would never say no to cake.

I'm sorry, but I love cake. Unless we have a ridiculous amount left, that cakes coming home with me! Day after cake is the literal best

Yes, they will. We had a lot of cupcakes and the guests were asking for extra to take with them,as they left

I wouldn't . I would definately make sure there is enough left over for everyone who wants to bring a slice home, otherwise it's kinda rude.

@Future- so I should throw away enough cake to feed 50 because there's not enough to feed 100. Seems like a huge waste. I think throwing away cake is rude.

They will already have eaten cake plus dessert bar. Most won't want cake to take back to their hotel. I just don't want to waste it. Nobody lives nearby FYI. So everyone will be going to hotels, rental houses, etc.

Pretty sure anyone who knows they can take leftover cake home WILL. Many don't because they think there is no means to.

I had people asking if there were takeout boxes because there full but wanted to take some desserts home. We provided some and the venue provided some of their own as well.

@Future- The thing is I have no idea how much cake will be left. We are have 3 tiers (12,10,8") which according to Pinterest will feed 128 people. Then I have a two tier grooms cake that'll feed about 40. Then there's the dessert bar. HaHa!!
