Leftover cake!!

Absolutely! We had a lot of leftovers and we did have plenty of people take some.

We had a dessert bar and cake. I noticed that some guests did take some before leaving for the night but, it wasn't boxed or anything.

I would say that maybe ask the caterer to put some boxes out by the cake and allow guests to serve themselves.

We had a dessert table along with our cake and had cake bags available. Plenty of people took dessert home.

Oriental Trading also has a "eat drink and be married" cupcake box that can fit cake slices, too. Very cheap!

Yes I definitely would. People love good cake.

Umm our venue boxed ours up for us! we took that home and ate it for the rest of the week. Delicious.

Yes! I have a friend who did this with her extra cake at the reception and people definitely were happy to take some home!

Reminds me of how salty I am that our venue never gave us our extra cake. Pretty sure the kitchen kept all that delicious cakey goodness for themselves. Grrrr.

@Bemyguest @OHP- I would do that except FH doesn't eat sweets and we leave for Thailand the Monday after our wedding. We will be in the car most of the day Sunday driving FH kids home and then packing. No time for cake. HaHa!
