Late Night Food—is it okay to skip?

Our wedding is in 61 days (!!) and I am working on final details—unfortunately it doesn’t look like we have it in the budget to do late night snacks like I had hoped but I’m feeling anxious about it because it seems to be such a normal part of weddings these days that it feels like an expectation and I’m afraid guests will be disappointed. With cocktail hour at 6:30, dinner at 8, and cake cutting at 9:30 (my mom is also doing a homemade cookie display), I feel like our guests shouldn’t be hungry, but I’m still stressed! Am I the only one not partaking in late night snacks?

We aren't doing late night bites either, as it also was not in our budget. I don't think people expect them and they end up being more of a fun surprise if you do have the budget for it!

Don't worry about the late night snack. I put it on my details card that there will be late night snacks and drinks at our after-party.

We were originally going to do a late-night snack, but then after having to reschedule, we got to rethinking things. We had fewer people coming the second time around, so we realized that there might not even be that many people left once the snacks were going to be served. I'm really glad we decided to take that out. That took a good chunk of money out of our final cost.

We are skipping the late night snacks at the venue. we have our cocktail hour with appetizers, then dinner and then dessert. we might do an after-wedding party at my parent's house and there'll be food there. but if it's not in your budget don't pay for extra and your guests will probably be full.
