Late June Bride, do i need to worry about floral?

Nicole, on March 28, 2020 at 1:30 PM Posted in Planning 0 2
The only wedding planning element that I need to focus on and wait for orders at this point would be floral. My florist said that a lot of her wholesalers are shutdown and we would be in a pickle if they don’t open up by mid-late May.

Should I start examining faux floral shops and getting quotes? I dreamt of real, but with current circumstances this is very minor and the least of my concerns if I can get something at least. Plus it may save money. I was going to pay a bunch to preserve my floral anyway.
Any recommendations for online floral shops that do great work in a pinch? Just to research as a backup plan?

Look into Bloominous, an online floral shop that sells real flowers, ships them to your location, and offers DIY or full service arrangement options. I was really considering them for my wedding before I found a local florist. They have great reviews on WW and their prices are reasonable. Good luck!

    Hi Nicole,

I'm glad to hear that your stress level about floral isn't too high! You've already done the right thing by contacting your florist directly for advice. With the uncertainty surrounding when certain businesses may reopen, it's a great idea to research alternatives---just in case. Smiley flower
