So, several know my horrible ring situation. If not, I will try to give a synopsis here with my question: Lifespirals on Etsy is an awful shop that lies, and has a horrible markup on rings that only appraise for about 50 to 60 bucks. I got married in May using little stand in rings, and only recently even recieved my junk from the seller. After they broke, I had them appraised. After months of fighting, finally she refunded our money. Thank god. Unfortunately, with our current financial situation and all the heartbreak, our new budget is $300 to get a ring on my finger. I suggested a plain band, but my husband can't stand the thought. So, I agreed to lab created gemstones or cz. I don't mind as long as we aren't being lied to about the product. That being said, Jeulia suits our needs at this time, but reviews are very mixed. I was wondering if anyone had personal experiences they could share with me while we try to make a decision. What did I do to deserve such an amazing group of ladies being so wonderful to me?

Thank you Catie for offering too. If you can send me a pic I can she DH. In not sure how he would feel in general. But its worth asking him.

Swarovski is also an awesome idea.

@SailawaySomppi Yes! I actually always forget that I even have them. Honestly a lot of times I forget that I was even married previous (horrible situation/no real wedding/only last 2 months).

@Lorith is there anyway for Etsy to hold them accountable? Seems like they wouldn't want businesses like that selling on their site but I guess it might be hard to control.

We got his wedding band from gemologia.com

It's reasonably priced compared to most places I found. He got a 12k solid gold men's ring with a large garnet stone for around $440. So I bet you could get a pretty lovely women's band in real gold with a nice gem for your budget Smiley smile

The ring is beautiful and has held up well.

Also I bought a rose gold fill band from etsy for $10 that I use as my wedding band. I may upgrade it at some point but it's doing the job fine now Smiley smile

I'd suggest Sundance catalog. It's a REALLY pretty jeweler up in Sundance, UT. They have TONS under 300 and they have some that are really simple gems and bands, and then some cute simple bands. I almost bought my ring from here, so I'm a big fan. Here's some examples (all under $160)

@Kels That would be the best case. But we are scared to get on etsy again.

@Swin I'll look at that tonight. It looks like a pretty good bet.

Lorith! Yessss do it. I've been into the store before and they are nice rings too, not like cheap-y or anything.

We got my ring for about 350 at Littman jewelers (partners with Fred Meyer jewelers in some states). It's 10kt white gold, with an aquamarine stone. They had smaller stones for less, I think I remember seeing some in the 200s. Hope this helps! Good luck!

@Alex We did look at littman but I'd look again. Thank you.

You can always check an antique shop for estate jewelry too, I've seen some lovely pieces and I know you like the vintage look.

I have a fake diamond from QVC that I wear all the time now since I've already had my rings cleaned for the wedding. I get a million compliments on it--people can't tell it's simulated.

Real advice though? Get something hella cheap for now and wait until the thanksgiving weekend--I'll bet you can get a lot more for your money when the holiday sales starts and that's only two months away. I would hold off.

Fred Meyer Jewelers has some really pretty rings outside of their "wedding" section that still look like wedding rings. A tip is to look in the birthstone section from April since its diamond. They also have great sales from time to time. A friend of mine got his FW's engagement ring there when there were having a 35% off sale with an extra 10% for that weekend. He got a ring that would originally been way out of his budget!

Use the filter to search for rings in your price range. It will bring up previously owned rings that are in that range. I got mine from them.

@AMW that's what I suggested. He's so impatient though... In trying to convince him to get a Walmart set for now. He says its weird to switch so much. Hers so picky -_-

@Lilly I'll look into them. I hadn't heard of it.

    @Bekkilynn that's awesome I didn't know that was a thing!

Is there a way to message you on here? Maybe I just haven't been able to find that option yet!

I would try Costco! They have a great ring section and some are very inexpensive. Good luck!

I found my ring on sale on overstock.com I know shopping online is scary, but it's absolutely stunning. I think you could find something on your budget. And things always drop for sale cheaper
