Koozie for wedding

Katie, on May 31, 2019 at 5:18 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 15
Those who had can drinks and did koozies do you feel it was worth it? The only thing we will have that a koozie would work for is beer and that will be Michelob Ultra so they will have to be the slim koozie. I don't want to order them if it will just be a waste of money. We will also have liquor and margaritas so for those we have regular cups for. I'm torn between if I should order the koozies or not..

You absolutely do not have to! I did opt for koozies (I’ll link a picture of them down below) and I love them. Koozies are popular in my area, so I know people will take them home. You don’t have to order the slim koozies, btw. People can still put Ultra in a can koozie and drink out of it just fine. I’m a bartender and see people do it all the time. They’re a nice touch, but definitely not necessary.

I wouldn't. Only a fraction of your guests will drink Michelob Ultra and only a fraction of those people will have use for a slim koozie at home. Most people use standard sized can koozies.

I don't think people in general use koozies to begin with but I see a lot of people print cute little sayings on koozies as a party favor

I love those! Thank you for letting me know I could do regular ones! I feel like I need to just because they will be cold and "sweat" but at the same time I never kept up with the ones I have been given as favors nor did I ever use them so I'm afraid of wasting money

That's what I'm worried about.. they are cute but I've never used them so I don't want to waste money on something someone else won't use

Thank you! Someone in PP said regular ones work just fine for that can as well but I'm just not completely sold on the idea of them yet

Well, then there’s your answer! Skip them and save your money. Edible favors seem like the best route from what I’ve read on here or just skipping favors altogether. No one will notice or care. 😄

Only get them if you’d be fine having them leftover.

And I don’t think your guests drinking beer will care if it sweats... most people being provided free booze don’t care about stuff like that! 😜

I definitely do not want them just sitting in the back of my closet or going in the trash so I guess I will just opt out and do something else

My friends have drawers of coozies to pass out during house parties. Just depends on the crowd you have.

Good idea. Honestly if it’s not something edible it’s most likely going to be left.

I'd order the can koozies but not necessarily one per person. We are going to get a couple different favors including koozies so our guests can pick one they like and will most likely take home.

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment in Houston so house parties don't happen with us, but that is a smart idea!

I think I'll just do a candy table with cute bags that say "love is sweet take a treat" because who doesn't love candy, and I could always eat on it forever
