Kids escort cards??

Jacki, on January 8, 2013 at 12:16 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

To those of you having children at your weddings, do the kids get their own escort cards?

we're making them for the teenie boppers, but for young kids/babies, do they get cards, or is it just assumed they sit at the same table with their parents?

We're putting for example "The Jones Family" or "Bill Jones and Family" because we have a lot of kids coming to our wedding.

I'm probably going to do what Kiera said, as well.

I was wondering about that myself. Sounds like a good idea. I have lots of families coming and it seems a little much to make every kids names also.

Is there a kids' table? It would be kind of cute to make itty bitty escort cards for the itty bitty kids Smiley smile but I don't think it's necessary as long as the parents know where to put the kids!

The family wording works but it might be cool to put their name on a box of crayons or something (along with table number) and provide some paper so they have something to entertain themselves.

Don't supply crayons, supply color pencils.

I bought those large-ish wooden letters from Micheals and painted them red and put their first names on them then decorated with cool stickers of stuff they like. I only had 3 kids at the wedding though Smiley smile Super cute and they have a keepsake of the wedding now

If they are sitting with their parents I would just put and family, we had a colouring book and a box of crayons for each child with their names written it... I would actually say put crayons and not coloured pencils or make sure you supply a pencil sharpener to each table. The kids at my wedding loved seeing them at their seats

If they are sitting at a separate table from their parents you could customize them...and even if they're sitting in the same place you could always make them a little more special by putting a little toy on their escort card or something.
