    I would absolutely skip, but my FH is insistent on doing it. So, I guess we'll do it.. quickly.

    Skipping. I've always found this cringeworthy and the fact we are having a small intimate wedding with mostly family attendance just raises the creep factor for me. The idea of one of our relatives "winning" a piece of my lingerie is just so gross.

    Agree!! I get where the tradition comes from but I've never seen this done in a way that wasn't absolutely cringeworthy!

    Yeah...no we definitely skipped this one. I'd rather crawl in a hole than have my grandparents watch my husband crawl up my dress.

    Skipping this one so hard! I can't even use a public bathroom so there is no way I could handle being exposed like this! I shudder thinking of this happening in front of our families and church leaders! ACK and my boss!!!
