Just found out I'm Pregnant- Middle of planning a wedding lol

Azzie, on July 18, 2019 at 1:53 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
I was in the middle of planning a May 2020 wedding and just found out me and hubby is expecting our 2nd baby together. I would say bad timing, but we are so grateful for this blessing. I was so scared to tell my mother as she is going above and beyond with the wedding planning. I had this weight on my shoulders like how do I tell everyone I'm pregnant, while trying to plan this lavish wedding. So we told our close friends and family, and everyone was actually happy for us. We decided to push the wedding 2 months , since I was originally due 2 months before the wedding date.. Our new wedding date is now July 4, 2020. Has anyone experienced this before or going thru this now? I'm just thinking, we will have a 4 month old at the wedding LOL

I planned my first wedding while pregnant with my now 8 year old son. My ex and I married exactly two months after his birth. The easiest thing that helped us that we hired a babysitter for the day! It was a family friends 17 year old daughter, who was able to hang out with our Baby and care for him, in the same location as we were. It really helped me a lot as a new mom because he was right there when we needed or wanted him present, but also my mind was at ease the whole day knowing that he was being loved on my someone I knew and trusted!

I am now planning my second wedding, and we share three kids. We are doing essentially the same thing this time. A friend will be in charge of caring for and watching our three kids, so that even though they will be present and available and be able to enjoy the wedding, we don’t have to worry about them because they will be in the charge of someone we trust!

Congratulations! I wouldn’t worry about telling anyone and pushing out the wedding. Like you said, this is a blessing.
