June Weddings

Hello All,

Thank you for being a support group right now..

As many of us are figuring out the next steps for our events, I'm curious as to who else is planning a wedding for June 2020?

Are you still keeping your date?

Are you thinking about postponing/rescheduling?

Who else is thinking about eloping or going to the court house?

Thank you for your responses..

Best of wishes,

Kacey

    June 6th.

With all the updates were are back and forth. I think we are going to wait until April 1st to see how things are. I would not want to jeopardize any of my family and fiends. If anything we will still get married on the date but we will postpone the ceremony.

We are definitely going to wait a bit before postponing. Flu season typically ends in April latest is May....sooo maybe COVID-19 may leave when the season changes as well...? Ugh! The unknown is stressful.

June 20th 2020 for me as well! Though I have been in a panic for the past few days because everything is so up in the air I have faith that everything will be okay. If the end of April comes and things are not looking good then I may think about moving the day. It is so hard to stay positive when there is such unknown things!

June 13th for me. We just had our wedding detail meeting by phone tonight. Trying to stay positive in light of everything and hope for the best. Our venue will reschedule if needed thankfully. Still thinking that we may end up doing a small ceremony around our date and then just a reception/party for whenever we can reschedule if it comes down to it.

Mine is June 13th as well. My issue is....we are still in full planning phase.. if we pause we wont be done on time...but I can't imagine signing another contract...or spending thousands...right now. We are definitely torn....

    June 20th!!!

Yes - so many of us are still in the planning phase. My invites haven't even gone out yet!

My plan is to keep going as if the wedding will definitely happen. If I sit around and assume it won't happen, then I won't be ready when the day arrives.

Today I want to decide on a cut off - I'm going to ask my venue what they would recommend.

June 27th, everything is pretty much DIY aside from officiant, our photographer, and catering. Having ceremony/reception at a family private location. And we will be maybe 75ppl max. I'm not too worried yet. If anything we may need to reschedule our Honeymoon which would be after the 4th of july to FL till the 11th.
