June wedding in Ny?

We set our date for June 5th (in NY) and both my mom and FMIL were not happy about that. My cousin got married in late June two years ago and it was terribly hot. She had an outdoor ceremony and everyone was a sweaty mess by the time the ceremony was over. My mom is begging me to change our date to April or May but we're planning on having an outdoor wedding so I can see her point. If you're planning an indoor wedding then I think that June is fine, but it could be a little too hot for an outdoor wedding.

Yes! Me too! I think that's why literally everyone I know who lives here gets married in October. LOL

I love October but I want more of a spring theme and colors rather than the dark fall themes. Oye the struggle lol Also, my birthday his birthday are both in fall so we figured spread it out 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi, I think it is fine... it may be very hot but it is also prime wedding season so it will be more expensive
