June Brides-back up plan

Sarah, on March 20, 2020 at 6:46 PM Posted in Planning 1 4
So...this COVID-19 is stressful for all of us. Our date is June 27 and I honestly had to delete this app Bc it was causing me so much stress. BUT I saw some of you getting contingency plans in place just in case. FH and I talked and today I reached out to our venue and all of our vendors and put a “soft hold” on 8/2. So we get to keep our 6/27 date but all of them are holding 8/2 for us just in case we need it! I feel so much better knowing we have a plan.

If you’re worried, I suggest you do the same! It was a weight lifted off of my shoulders!

We're the 28th. We called our venue to see if we would even be charged if we postponed (since the contract only talks about cancelation fees) Lucky enough if we wanted to postpone and we're under insurance by then. Because there is no way we would cancel. We're not thinking of postponing because its way too early. Things can be so different next week, let alone a month or two months. I agree a lot of the boards can become toxic and stressful.

Hi Sarah! I know it's incredibly stressful with all the uncertainty right now, but I'm so glad you've already made some proactive plans and thought about your backup!!
