June and Beyond Brides

Hey everyone!
My fiancé and are set to have our wedding on June 6th. We, or I, was hopeful, but seeing that this could be the first week out might be too risky, with concerns of possibly extending the event bans through mid to end of June. Our reception venue has asked us to stay put and not make any decisions until the end of April/1st week of May. Honestly, if we wait any longer, we may be screwed out of an ideal date. What are our other couples doing if they’re set to be married in June?

July 25th here - I'm anxiously trying to wait until May 1st to make any decisions or gather information about other potential dates. The few vendors I talked to seem optimistic, but no one really knows. My worst fear is that all the "good" dates will be taken as well... I've just resigned m myself that if this gets pushed out we will be getting married at a less ideal time (I actually would prefer a fall wedding, but this date is special to us). It's tough to sit tight.

I hear you! We are thinking of possibly rescheduling to 8/16 now - too early in June is too much of a gamble right now. And it’s right about the time when the world opens up for the first time - what procedures will be in place? How will people react to each other? It’s not easy. I think your date is good - June might be a wash, but July is definitely good and you’re later in July too - all about buying time I guess? Best wishes and best of luck - no matter the outcome, you’ll have the wedding of your dreams!

Hi Jessica! It's definitely a tough and stressful time due to all of this uncertainty!! Fall/winter wedding dates are filling up fast, but there also could be a chance things look better in your area in June. It stinks being in limbo but I can understand your venue's desire to wait a little longer!

There are a few popular discussions where tons of June couples have been coming together to share their concerns and planning updates, you should definitely check them out:
