Would you guys say it’s time to make those heart breaking decisions or still give it some time?

Pros to deciding now: Ease of mind/less anxiety; greater likelihood you'll get to reschedule to a date that works for you/all your vendors; greater likelihood you'll get a refund if you want to cancel (someone else on this forum mentioned that they want to cancel but now their venue is going bankrupt so can't give them their money yet -- which seriously sucks!).

Pros to deciding later: more time to assess whether things will be better by June.

I think a lot depends on where your wedding will be and who is attending. You can try googling when your area will reach its peak of COVID 19 cases. If that's a few months before your wedding, then maybe your area will be through the worst of it by then and restrictions will ease up? But if it's people coming from out of state or out of the country, it's unlikely they'll be able to attend. But, if you're okay just getting married with 10 people standing six feet away from each other, maybe it can still happen anyway. Good luck with whatever you decide!

We unfortunately just made the decision yesterday to postpone from 6/26/20 to 10/2/20, and hopefully it still happens in October Smiley sad honestly I was crying everyday before making the decision but now that I switched everything to 10/2/20 I feel 100% more comfortable and relaxed then I did Smiley sad sucks so bad but it’s for the best for the safety of our guests 😩

We are still waiting a few weeks. Almost all of our guests are local. And I am concerned about a second peak in the fall/later in the year. Pros for postponing now would be less stress/anxiety, as well as potentially getting a "better" date at your venue (versus waiting, will be less options)

We just postponed this week from 6/20 to 8/1 to buy some time and relieve the stress of having to wait last minute to decide (and then have no options when everything else is getting booked up). It took two weeks of denial, anger, and tears before coming to that decision. Most of our guests are out of state and that way they do not have to make any hasty decisions either.
