July/Summer Weddings: What Flowers Are In Your Bouquets? 💐

My must have flower in my bouquet was calla lilies because they're my favorite.

I got married in July and had peace roses (because I love the way they look) and Gerbera daisies (because they're bright and happy) in my bouquet. H's boutonniere was a peace rose, and then the GM each had one Gerbera daisy as his boutonniere, and the BMs bouquets were also Gerbera daisies.

I’m doing purple orchids and white calla Lillies in July.

So I'm not a July bride but here is what my florist is putting in mine: white roses, white spray roses, light blue delphinium, white lisianthus, white ranunculus, silver dollar eucalyptus, feather eucalyptus, and Israeli ruscus. Sadly he is unable to create mock-ups, so I really have no idea what it's going to look like 😆

View Quoted Comment Awesome!! I'm clueless when it comes to flowers. My fiance and I are meeting with our florist in a few weeks, and I'm tempted to do something similar to what you did: just tell the florist the colors/special requests/budget, and let him figure it out from there.

I am an odd ball, I'm not using real flowers. I am actually making fake roses from comic books and then I bought a few other fake flowers to include.

View Quoted Comment I am actually done with mine, still working on the bridesmaids flower, but here is mine. We are doing a DC comicbook themed wedding. My fiance is a huge Batman fan so my flowers match Batman colors. The bridesmaids flowers will match the groomsmen and what their superhero is.
