Mariah, on June 18, 2020 at 4:33 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 15

Our 4/4 wedding got pushed to July 18th and we are going forward with our new date. I remember back in March when we were a month out and how nervous I was feeling then, well NOW I FEEL 10X as nervous! Its actually happening in a month from today! I cant believe it!!!

Any one else going through with their July weddings? How are yall feeling?

Mine is supposed to be July 31, though we're giving serious consideration to postponing. That's exciting that your wedding will happen in July!! Congratulations to you!!

Congrats! Our wedding is July 11th and I feel like I'm in panic mode! We had a groomsman drop out of the wedding and even though we were able to find a replacement, I already had a metal koozie personalized for him (ugh). We also had a LOT of people who still needed to RSVP, but we're finally getting them all rounded up. I think it's normal to be nervous though. I'm trying to stay calm and I'm going to make myself some check lists.

Girl I feel you, two of my sisters are bridesmaids and as of right now they have dropped out, I've had all of their bridesmaids gifts since February, plus my niece who was supposed to be a flower girl probably wont be there since her mom isnt going to be and I bought her dress for the wedding! Its so crazy!

Oh no! That really stinks. One of my friends told me today that "at least one thing will go wrong" so I'm telling myself that was it haha 😅

I’m July 17 happy and excited but beyond stressed with all the changes now having a backyard wedding something I never wanted but everyone wanted for me sad I can’t wear my dress. A groomsman planned a vacation the week of our wedding thinking we weren’t having it when we told him if we can have the bridal party there we are so many stressful things happening but at the end of the day I’m marrying my best friend that’s all that matters!!

I’m not really nervous, I just want it to be over. I was hoping it to be what all of us ladies dreamed our weddings should be but with Covid it isn’t so. I just want to be married at this point.

I’m getting married July 10th. It has been very weird preparing for this wedding but not being able to invite everyone that we wanted to. We are having a smaller, immediate family wedding, including both of our parties. I keep seeing that new COVID cases are spiking up everywhere in FL but we’re not changing this date. We’re getting married that day regardless of what’s going on in the world at that moment.

    UPDATE!

since the spikes went up here in texas we have decided to push the big celebration a year out and just make it a one year anniversary party. We are still getting married this weekend at my dads house with close family!

Any one else have a change of plans?
