July 26,2020 wedding and Covid 19

I don’t have the same date.. mine is in August but don’t freak out. There is a two week lockdown and the CDC will access things again after this date. It may not be eradicated by then but it will slow down alot. This virus is driving the economy so it’s in the government's best interest to get a hold on it.

I'm July 25th and I am definitely concerned, but trying to stay calm. We have everything planned and plenty of deposits put down. I think it is just too soon to make any moves - or, you can preemptively make the decision now to postpone. I'm just going to hold out and see what happens with these increased directives and closings. My heart is breaking for those who have weddings they needed to cancel or postpone.

I'm July 11 and I'm cautiously optimistic things will have calmed down by then. If not I think we may just go to the courthouse and have a delayed reception.

Hi Veronika! Our date is July 26, too. We are going ahead as planned, but we realize that the situation can change at any moment. We already had to cancel my bridal shower, which was supposed to be May 2. We're just taking things one day at a time and hoping for the best!

We called the venue yesterday just to see what is their plan . They said they rescheduled they march through mid May weddings and told us we are okay for June and July . It made me feel better !
