I’m the day before you!


I have to order my signs, book our hotel, make a couple more payments, my bachelorette is in 3 weeks, waiting for her arrival of my reception dress.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding day! We’re a month out from our elopement on Monday, July 12 (our 5 yr anniversary).


If you haven’t started the alterations just yet, definitely do that sooner than later. My dress took 5-6 weeks to alter (hem, cups, sides, and bustle).
We are sending out our application for our marriage license this week. Our photographer emailed us last night asking to meet one final time before the wedding, so I need to schedule that. The videographer will receive his last payment soon. My biggest worries are getting our officiant situated for our day and writing our vows.
Those are our main things… but there are little things like: receiving our florals, receiving my SO’s suit, updating the coordinator, picking up the cake and rentals.
It’s most a waiting game now.

As for our officiant, we decided on a friend marrying us so we have to help him get situated with a script, giving him the elopement details, making sure he gets his certification done…. those types of things. It’s just a little nerve racking because it what makes us officially married besides having witnesses.

I am too, I’m just mostly worried about being a good hostess.
DB has a ton of gowns that you can use as a reception gown, or you can purchase a white evening gown.

My wedding is the 24th! I'm ready! All my work is complete! Just filled out my marriage application... getting it notarized tomorrow and dropping it off Friday! Then final looks with the venue also on Friday! Last but not least finals on flowers and Dj.. then chill mode until the big day!

July 29th I’m so ready!!! Bridesmaid dresses, groomsmen suites getting alterations , my dress, collecting rsvp and doing the seating chart. Everything else is done and accounted for.

My wedding is July 17th. I still have to pay off my dj, do centerpieces, pay for cakes, and pay for wedding insurance. I'm stressed to the max since I'm also in college

Ya girl is STRESSED. We get married July 2 - 16 days!! I just sent in our final headcount and meal choices to the venue... every single day I get bombarded with emails from vendors asking last minute questions! I already picked up my dress from the seamstress but I am frantically finishing up our homemade favors and wedding signs. I keep remembering to do things I've forgotten! Yikes!!! Literally still ordering things last minute, thank goodness for Amazon Prime!

July 17th and beyond stressed! We still need our signage (menu, bar menu, welcome sign, table#'s, seating chart, etc.), get alcohol, pay the rest of our vendors, and any other detailed things we wanted. I'm a 2020 covid bride so we pushed out a year and I keep saying "we have time" but we really don't! It's been a wild year. Good luck and enjoy the ride, the closer it gets everything will just fall into place.

P.S. book your hotel! We have given our guests 8 different hotels to book that is near our venue and all of them are fully booked, I feel bad for our guests but we gave them so much notice/time.

Me! One more month and just finalizing what to do about vows and we need sparklers and baskets for flower girls. Other than that I think we are pretty much set!

Guest list has been a challenge as we have had people wait to decide due to covid. We had several international guests and the variant and what the US is preventing has been a nightmare.

I’m getting married at the end of July and the stress is getting to me so much. Thank goodness for my soon to be sister-in-law

It’s going good I just need to get the restaurant to call me back for the food !!! But other than that I’m ready July 31st come on !!!
