Jordan shoes for wedding.

Sasha, on May 28, 2018 at 11:58 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15
Okay, so I really would like the wedding party including groom and bride to wear Jordans. Although, I'm having a difficult time figuring out what attire would look best. Haven't figured out colors yet. But please no jeans.

You'll need to pay for the Jordans if you require that they be worn and if the members of the wedding party don't already own a pair.

That's a big ask for those that dont wear sneakers often. Those shoes aren't cheap. I personally wouldn't require that. You have to consider your asking people to spend possibly hundreds of dollars on shows they may not wear again.

Shoes are one of the things nobody (but the bride and possibly the groom) care about.
If you're not willing to pay for everybody to wear Jordans, then please consider something else.
(I'm only comfortable with sneakers on so I'd love to be able to wear them, but not at the price tag of Jordans)

If you are saying not all the party should wear Jordans, then what shoe would look best. I want my future groom to wear Jordans as well as myself.

*IF* Jordans are something your party would actually wear in regular life, particularly with dressier clothes, I think you could consider them. You would need to buy them all since you are wanting a particular shoe, and the shoe wouldn't be considered a gift since the are a part of the costume/uniform/clothing you want for your wedding.

If Jordans aren't something they'd appreciate wearing I'd consider a different route. The easiest things to do are to have them wear any shoe that is comfortable and suits their attire, or if a bit more coordination is wanted, have any silver/gold/nude (to their skin tone)/other neutral shoe in your choice of color

While I think it's a fun idea, I would definitely not be willing to buy a $200 pair of sneakers that I will never wear again as a bridesmaid. However, I think they will look like fine with typical wedding attire.

Typically dress shoes are what would look best, but lots of people chose to do something different. It's all a matter of personal preference. Like most posters have said, it's not the idea of Jordans that we don't like, it's the price tag. I just can't justify spending that.

Many of you are stuck on price. I'm not posting this due to price. Thank you though. What would look best meaning gray suit, black suit, jeans, etc

That really depends on the feel you’re going for. Are you looking for more formal or more casual?

I wouldn't plan the whole outfit around sneakers. If you're having a formal wedding, suits would be best. If it's casual, jeans might be okay. Black tie would be tuxedos.

What color of shoe are you going with? To me that would dictate the color of the suits. Like if they were black I would go with a black suits. If they were white I would go with grey suits.

The suit or attire definitely depends on the color of Jordan’s you’re going with since there are so many colors and different styles. My FH might wear black Jordan’s with his gray suit.

I'm leaning towards maroon and gold as the colors. But, nothing is definite. Also thought about maroon and gray

I’m gonna wear the rose gold 11s for our wedding and the groom might wear either the shadow 1s or the cool grey 11s.

If you you end up doing maroon and gold, you should get the maroon heiress 11 for yourself! So cute
