Joint bank account

We personally want to keep our accounts separate to keep track of our own finances. BUT. We thought about doing a joint account to pay bills with. Might be over complicated though.

Everything is separate right now. But when we get married we will be getting joint accounts. What is your FH worried about?

FH and I have had a joint account for years. Our mortgage comes out of it so both of our checks go into that one.

Also, I still have my checking account from before we were together which is our "savings" account. FH doesn't trust himself having access to it, so we keep that card in our safe.

My FH made one for us for the wedding. It sucks because I see so many cute things for the wedding!! In the end it was good because it keeps me from going crazy lol

Fh and I have already combined our accounts. A checking, household fund through which I pay bills and a savings.

If you guys can handle that responsibility then go for it but I haven't had the greatest experience with this
